DECLARATION 2: "What I heard about money isn't necessarily true. I choose to adopt new ways of thinking that support my happiness and success."
According to Harv:
Sometimes money is a difficult thing to talk about. Perhaps you were brought up to use discretion regarding this topic. Money isn't actually the root of all evil. Perhaps pride is a contributing factor? You are conditioned to think from your past programming. This is where your thoughts stem from. Verbal conditioning is powerful. It is a contributing factor to your money blueprint. You may consider retraining your mind to respond supportively regarding money and success. The 1st element of change is AWARENESS. How have you been conditioned? Were you told you were meant to struggle or that you do not deserve to have much? This could be a self-fulfilled prophecy. The 2nd element of change is UNDERSTANDING. Where does it come from? Have you allowed this to be? The 3rd element of change is DISASSOCIATION. You can choose to let it go and recognize that this is what you learned but is not part of your anatomy. And the 4th element of change is RECONDITIONING. You have a choice and need to rewire your subconscious on a cellular and permanent level.
A Book in Time's Commentary:
Professionally: Understanding that money is a good thing and can be used in amazing ways to help others inspires me to work smarter to obtain it. I was previously satisfied with a salary and a cap on my value. Now I choose to understand I am capable of more, and I can even do more and give more with more. I am no longer timid or awkward regarding financial discussions and see the bigger picture regarding all the beneficial ways we can help each other increase wealth and build successful businesses.
Personally: I was conditioned not to talk much about money when I was growing up, and therefore accepted what I had been offered as a salary and kept quiet and content, so to speak. Now I see money as a tool to be shared for the wellness of humanity. I am not afraid to want and seek more. I know in my heart all the good I am able to accomplish with it.
Spiritually: I believe there is no reason for a shortage of money in this world. There is enough to go around for everyone, and for those who have figured out the key to obtaining it comes the blessing of reaching out to others. What a beautiful concept of "people helping people." While Harv speaks in terms of "deserve," I recognize that on a "righteousness" level, we all fall short of the glory of God. However, we are all given the same opportunity to set aside any degree of "self-reliance," put complete faith and dependency on God as our sole provider, and use our God-given abilities to prosper in ways that will help humanity.
